just get the cd player from an integra and it will plug right in and fit perfect. You dont need any adapter harness or anything. I have it in my car and it looks great.

its just wiring. if the plugs are different you need to switch them. in order to switch them you need a wring diagram so you know what wire goes where when you swap the plugs.

give us some details. Why did you buy a harness anyways? if you bought the right one then all you have to do it plug it into the stock harness and into the cd player.

i'm assuming when you say EK you mean 99+. you need a plug to go into the back of the EK unit, you can cut one out of most 99+ hondas, or oder one on the internet. then you need to go to a stereo shop and get the female plug that you can plug your stock radio plug into. then you have to match the wires, solder, tape, and plug in. i have an s2k head unit in my ef.

your original head unit in your ef should have the wiring diagram printed on the bottom, and so should the one your putting in, this should be a simple task for anyone, im sure you can figure out what to do from there

Negative I didnt have a stock headunit in my EF i had a Kenwood and it died on me (was old anyways) I matched up all the wires color by color but there are some extra wires on the EK radio harness and on the wires on my EF there are 2 wires that do not match with the EK harness...
Also the 99 EX radio does not have the wiring diagram on it.....

White W/ blue stripe = 12V illumination
Yellow W/ red stripe = 12V Acc

As for the EK wires, did the radio come from a car that had keyless entry installed?

Okay, what year car did this radio come from? 98 and earlier? Or 99 and later? If it's a 98 then your factory harness will plug right in. If you don't have the factory harness then you'll want to test the wires with a digital multi meter. If it's from a 99 and up there will be two illumination wires where everything before 99 only had 1 wire. That just means the radio won't dim with your dimmer switch. If you've got everything hooked up and it still won't turn on, you need to check both (2) fuses. One is under the dash as normal, the other is under the hood and is labeled backup. It is a 7.5 volt fuse. Hope this helps.

I sent you an email because We-Todd doesn't support PDF's. It's a wiring diagram for Honda radio harnesses with wire colors and all. If I can convert it to a jpeg then I'll post it up for all to see but for now, you got mail.
