Default Great fun - lots of different cars out there

This weekend, though we were reprimanded as a group for so many "offs", was a blast! ITRs, Civics (with various motors), Preludes, Accords, one RSX-S (mine), one NSX, a CRX or two, plus Porsche Twin Turbos, Vipers, Vettes, Mustangs, Factory Five Cobra replicas (minus the two that wrecked), Celicas, MR2s, BMW M3s and 325s (and two 2002s), Nissan Sentra Spec Vs (two), too many other one-offs to list.
Unbelievable fun, especially the climbing esses at over 100mph - Wooo-ah!
Jon Felton - hats off to you and your group at SpeedTrial USA (East Coast) for putting this together - I hope that things are set for Feb 3-4.

How dare you leave the '89 Caprice police sedan off the list. That driver had mad skillz yo.

Sorry y'all-
There were just too many to list in one thread.
Yes, Crack Monkey's Caprice just kicked *** out there!
The Police Package spotlight had to be worth at least - what? - 7hp?

From an enthusiast's perspective, my favorites were the Taurus-SHO-powered Lotus Esprit, the ex-Carrera Cup Porsche 993 racecar, and the blue Viper racecar with the carbon fiber wings/splitters/etc. That new 911 Turbo was gorgeous. Oh, and those M5's sounded *awesome*.

From a driver's perspective, my favorites were the E30 M3's and the ITR racecars. And, of course, the totally badass red SE-R.

Anyone see that crazy fart can equipped limited edition black Civic Si? I particularly appreciated that one, myself...yeah, the lotus was nice too, I suppose.

You mean that gorgeous white, early body Esprit Turbo was really powered by FOMOCO/Yamaha? Never seen that done, but I guess it is a Lotus, so anything that'll make it scoot good.

Unfortunately I had to turn it down a little this weekend I was seeing EGTs as high as 1800 degrees.. (yah - that's not a typo). I toned it down and was still seeing 1600. I have a problem, but all that will change before Feb. *evil grin*

So far things seem ok.. I ran the remainder of Saturday, and Sunday with no problems at all. Car sounds fine, runs fine.. I have an odd sinking feeling I might be into the motor before I know it though.. Pretty neat for a 2002 model car huh? Ain't even got to 2002 yet!!
