Question about JUN 2 cams
I saw the post from Mike K. with the dyno of the intake cam only and it looked like the cam fell off a little on the top. The question is if you were to use the JUN 2 exhaust cam with the intake would the power up top climb or level off instead of dropping?

well if you look at the spec of the jun 2 vs itr exhaust cam you see a slight difference...the specs are as follows
jun 2 exhaust cam
lift = 10.9mm
duration = 265
itr exhaust cam
lift = 10.5mm
duration = 235
now the thing is .4 on the jun2 is not that much i would think to make a difference but what about duration...would that full 30 make a huge difference up top...i myself dont know, but if i only gain 2-3whp by using a 450.00 cam i would be pissed...i would rather stick with the jun2/itr combo than waste the money for the exhaust cam...can anyone answer what effect duration has on the cams and engine

not enough for a $450 price tag
but how much duration is really needed to see that power...is 30 alot...now looking at it, it seems like that would add some power up top, but the real question is how much

I understand that the Jun2 exhaust cam is not cheap. But, has anybody actually tried both the Jun2 intake AND exhaust cam together (on a well built high compression setup)?
I would imagine the top end would pick up as compared to the Jun2 intake cam and ITR exhaust cam combo. Afterall, these cams were designed to work as a pair.
Just something to think about...

I think some people are using the Intake/Exhaust combo. I have a Jun2 Exhaust cam in stock if anyone wants to test it. I know one person is working on it, but if anyone with just hte intake wants an exhaust I have one.
