so we finally get the engine in and ready for action.
so my mechanic disconnected the coil to prime the oil pump. so he held the key for a few seconds.
then he connected the coil and tried to start it... after a lot of arguement from Miss H22 she turned on with a dead miss and the oil pressure light came on.
we think the dead miss is from when he primed it it might have dumped too much fuel into the cylinder and flooded the spark plug... however, another problem is that one of the injectors is bad and didnt send any fuel to the cylinder (spark plug was white like it was new when we took it out)
so if you know what that problem might be, then lemme here your answer.
now for the next problem, the oil pressure light came on. now obviously we primed the pump as explained above and we also filled the oil filter with oil (im not sure why, but my mechanic gave a good technical reason why and i agreed). then one of my buddies called when i got home (obviously not in the lude this time) and said that one of the 3 wires is the oil pressure wire. so my question is would this be why the oil pump wasnt working? or is it something else? he said if we dont connect that wire then the oil pressure light will always be on but the pump should still work without it
so if you have any advice on that then i could really use it right about now.
thanks in advance
