I was going to make one out of a ITR or GSR stock box with the K&N cone filter on the inside(they make a filter perfect for this, search in the integra fourm) but I am switching to ITB's

are you serious?
its kinda like a cold air intake but only there is better air flow and you don't have to worry about hyro-lock (in ohio)

so the integra air box will fit in the crx location? I'm guessing you use the integra air box instead of the rex air box because it is bigger? correct me if im wrong

It would take alittle modding to mount the teg box in out cars but this is what they look like without the top on.

is that a ice box or just a air box? what years of integra will fit? is there a difference between GSR, LS and GS? what do you have to mod to get it to fit?

That is the OEM integra GSR box.
I am not positive but I assume all integra boxs are the same and the only difference is the pipe the goes behind the bumper is different on the type R.
I have not done this on my CRX yet and I dont know if I will since I am going with ITB's now.
I was going to use a aftermarket intake pipe that has only one bend by the throttle body(any cheap pipe would work).
K&N filter
and the GSR box
from looking at it it looks real easy to make work it just depends on how fancy you want it to look in the end.
I know it will work you will just have to make a bracket or tap some hole to mount the box down.

If you have a 90/91 crx I would use the "fog light" holes, I have my passenger side one cut out.
The box isnt that much bigger then the crx box so it should fit well but since I have not done this myself yet I can not varify anything.

i would have sworn an ice box was a box jull of ice you put around your fuel line to keep it cool.

how do you prevent water from getting sucked up with the cold air intakes? i was gonna make a hood scoop for my civic but did know how to keep the water out

Below the blinkers on the 90/91 crx they have fog light holes but any bumper could be modded to drag air up.

Avoid water or use a bypass valve.

exactly.

Short rams work best since they are less restrictive so if you can bring air to them you will make more power and not have to worry about water.
