people are telling me i cant put a 90-91 b18a in my 89 STD civic. because i have to have a si wiring HARN. an dthe one i have wont work.
I know i have to get the hasport wiring kit but if i get that and mounts wont it work?

you can use your stock harness and convert to mpfi...you dont need the hasport wiring harness...check out eric b's site and do everything but add wires for vtec http://b16a.honda-perf.org/theswap.html .........hth

 

Someone please correct me if im wrong i wouldnt want to steer someone in the wrong direction.............I think people are telling you that you need to si harnees because it's already wired for Multi Port Fuel Injection(mpfi).
