strange picture
looks like an h-series for a formula car or something, note the oil sump and teeny flywheel. They probably made the head bolt on custom so the motor spins the other way or something
uhm.. the image name has "h22" in it.. i thought maybe the image was "mirrored" horizontally.. so i had to flip it again.. and you can't read vtec.. so that can't be it. where is this engine located? (where did superhonda.com get the picture)
The BTCC Accords here in the UK run this configuration so that you get the "ram air" effect at the front of the engine. The cylinder head is turned round and heavily modified.
They are also de-stroked to 2 litres and run Jenvey throttle bodies. These engines put out around 350BHP!!

You are absolutely correct. They reversed the rotation of the engine and flipped the cylinder head around. Now the honda engine runs clockwise and they could run as sequential tranny.

Now THAT is something I would like to see stateside. Then a plate/adaptor to run an RSX-S transmission.
