I was quoted roughly 100 bucks for both springs and shocks install...by a guy I kind of know.

I went to Pitstop Motorsports
25741 Obrero Drive, Mission Viejo, CA 92691
(949) 458-1571

Ask for Eddy, I think he's the owner. I just had my coilovers installed there on Sat. The installer was pissed though because I had a front camber kit and full blown H&R coilovers. He thought it should have been a higher price. They take it to Philips Auto next door to do the alignment at their special price of $45.

you can go out and rent a spring compressor for cheap,or in my case I just took off all my springs/shock assemblies, took em to the shop, had my buddy that works there pull em apart for me and put the new aprings on, took about 15 mins for him to do it. Probably take 15 mins. a side if I did it with a hand spring compressor myself. Very easy, I recomend you try it tourself, you learn a lot about your car.

You don't need a spring compressor, just stand on the spring and point the shock body in a safe direction while you take off the top bolt. the shock will only fly about 10 feet.

point the shock at a tire and it will not go more than 1 foot. Make sure to point the other end up to a brick wall, don't lose the nuts and washers.

Don't be stupid and dangerous. That's how people get seriously hurt. Look at about $70-$80 for install and about $45 for alignment. It can be done by yourself and is a good way to learn how to do things yourself as well. Most auto stores rent spring compressors for cheap but they are the amnual ones taht you need to turn by hand. A pain in the ***! That's where an air compressor would be nice. If you don;t fell comfortable doing it yourself or don;t have someone that knows how to do it correctly to teach you, spend the extra to have it done professionally. It'll save you the headache and they usually warranty there work. Good luck!

i dont think it stupid.. if u know what ur doing... letting it fly off works fine... the stupidity comes in when someone stand at either end of the shock

PLEASE don't do this... one wrong move, and kiss ur dick goodbye.

Goto AutoZone get some compressors, they'll take a deposit and rental is FREE... deposit is refunded.
