Default wiring harness question

What would be the best way on wiring up a d16z6 in a 90crx si using a p28 ecu:
A, Using the d16z6 wiring harness
B, Using a obdo/obd1 conversion harness.
I'm looking for the most straight forward and most effective way possible. I've done some research and know that if I use the the conversion harness I still need to do some wire splicing. If I use the d16z6 harness will I need to modify anything or is the install plug and play? Thanks for your time.

Rick

I would use the stock si harness and just get a jumper. jumpers are cheap now. for the time you would spend trying to figure out all the pins and stuff and going on ht asking people ?'s when you hit a issue the car can be running.

Always use the engine harness from the same car and model and modify how needed.

I'm using a p28 ecu which is the ecu that came with the d16z6. The z6 harness should connect with no mods. Shouldn't it????

No.

The engine harness connects to the body harness which then connects to the ECU.
You must use the stock engine harness and then make or buy a conversion harness and run the VTEC 4 wire 02 wires.

don't forget that if you convert to obd1, you're going to have to mate your obd0 crx si harness to that Z6 dizzy. U can make a small custom harness or use the good ol' cut n' solder method.
