is there any companys that make the 4-2-1 design with a 2.5"collector? i know companys like spoon, jun, etc have them but im lookin for somethin a lil cheaper along the price range of a DC........ i tried searching but i couldnt come up with anything

Toda...but that's more $$$

 

look at the great header test, the T1R didnt have the highest peak, but compare the mid-high range power/ torque and you'll know when I chose to go w/ this header.

Although some may suggest that without tuning the results of the test was inconclusive

 

Maybe you can get an used 96 JDM 4-2-1 header.... got 2.5" collector.

 

Weapon R Race Header retails around $600 or so. I think they are discontinued though not sure.

i don't believe that is true because the 98 + JDM 4-3-2 header is 2.5" and that's why it's such a hot commodity.

 

My Maxim Works header is a 4-2-1 with a 2.5 inch collector, but it also retails for well beyond what the Toda does so I'm guessing it's not an option.

 

jdm itr 4-2-1 does have a 2.5 collector, i have it on my car

i am not saying that the jdm itr header does not have a 2.5 collector. i am saying that the 96 jdm itr header does not have a 2.5.

He said he has a JDM 4-2-1 header, so that's the 96 JDM header and not the JDM 98 ITR header.

 

let me clarify further, the 96 and 98 JDM itr headers BOTH have 2.5 collectors

5Zigen also make a 4-2-1 with 2.5" collector and very reasonably priced too on http://www.takakaira.com I think its approx $370 plus shipping from Japan to US which is around $120 (I got a shipping quote of $136 from japan to Ireland and the US is always cheaper) so you could have it for around $500. Theyre supposedly extremely well made also...i seen a brand new one in a shop here and it looked fantastic with super smooth welds, and the collector sort of bulged into an oval type shape just before the collector.
