I have a quesiton for those of you who might have the 96 honda accord ex with the v-tec and ABS... I went to put the ram air in and there is no port on the bottom of the tube for the ABS to connect to, apparently some sort of vacuum for the ABS, but what would you do to bypas this problem or is there a specific ram intake for my car, i cant find one that would fit any better then the one i have now. I have it working fine now, i moved my ABS air box i guess you could call it, lol, to the front of the engine bay keeping it hooked up, but not connected to my intake tube or filter... i figured the air should still be filtered so i put a sock over the end temporarily haha. If this is how everyone else did it, then i guess I'm Jesus, if not let me know how you rigged it up. Thanks, ADAM
air between the filter and TB is just filtered air, so all the abs hose requires is filtered air, so a sock would work but a real filter would be better to put on there, or you can drill your intake, but just filtering the abs hose will work fine
Abs doesnt have vacum at least to my knowledge. Thats some secondary air box. Disconnect it and plug any vacum.
