Default will this really help my honda?

I have a 95 civic 4d DX... im not sure if i should by anything for it becasue i dont know what will really help it in preformance wise? does anyone have any tips?

but alsi what i was thinking abotu getting was a cold air intake system and an exahust system.. would that help? or what would because my honda isnt that fast

That motor really isn't worth putting any money into. Maybe you could find a cheap d16y8 swap and boost it. You could probably do all that for around $1000. But if you really wanna put money in that engine, get a cold air intake and catback exhaust. Not gonna help too much but they give you the most power for what you pay for it.

just buy a complete d16z6 with a ex/si tranny for a few hundred dollars..... offers a decent engine to start with and some potential for turbocharging

yea but if i bought lets say a cold air take system for around 250 and a good exauhst system for aroun 300... how much would that improve my car?
