vss check engine light (searched)
alright i've searched but the problems others are having is when they get the cel the speedo doesnt work. my dillema is it throws code 17 vss, yet my speedometer works just fine. i've also got a pm6 and pg7 ecu and switched them around and still the same code. i'd appreciate any help and suggestions. thanks.

if you are still running the cable speedo, then you have a problem on the dash harness or main dash harness. the ecu isn't getting the speed reading from the speedometer.

what problems am i looking for in the dash harness? or would getting a replacement cluster be easier? btw i read the alaniz website, congrats on 3rd place, sick car man.
