Default The Official DOHC-Powered Civic 1/8 Mile Thread

Well since not everyone has a 1/4 mile track around them and there is a DOHC 1/4 mile thread. I thought i would start an 1/8 mile thread...Mods if this inappropriate feel free to delete this thread.

Not yet. Actually, last night was the first time the new set up has been to the track. Planned on getting a few 1/8 passes in to get used to the car before going the full 1/4. Unfrotunatelly, only got 1 pass before the diff let go.

it did go 7.14 @102.5 in the 1/8, let out and coasted a 11.7 @ 89mph

'94 cx hatch
'95 jdm b18c gsr w/lsd
intake/cat/ 2 1/4 exhaust
195/ 15" yoko retreads
koni/hr
full interior -minus spare

on the 14.19 1/4 run in my sig (moderate tail wind)..

60' - 2.181
1/8 - 9.161
mph - 78.781

since then i ported some BAD welds in my stock header and got only 3 runs into a significant headwind..

60' - 2.183
1/8 - 9.179
mph 79.355

my 1/4 time was just over 1/10 sec slower on that run tho (bloody headwind)

At a genuine 1/8th track, with the previous car configuration, the best i could muster was 9.499 @ 77.34mph. Landed a best 2.34 60' on that run, but i had been struggling with high 2.3 60's and 9.5s and 9.6s 1/8th on both nights i went. A tribute to poorer track conditions i guess.
