Looking for a second car next year and wondering what everyone thinks. This car will be my daily driver. Not looking for swaps or anything major like that. Probably just I/H/E. Thanks.

92-95 all the way...

 

i personally like how the 96-00 civic look alot better then the eg's. but if you get the si you really dont need a transplant as bad as if you got the ek.

 

get the 92-95 SI!

 

just think if you get a 92 it will be 10 years old!

 

Need i say More! EK's are dope im on my second and should get another around summer.

Oh yea and we just sold my girls 92 Si for a 97 Dark Purple EK. With a B16a coming soon!

 

Damn, Im debating also!! The more ek's I see, I the more I like em'!

 

if your not going to swap, then get the 92-95 Si, cause the EKs dont have as much potential as the 92-95 Si does with basic bolt ons. And with EK's just to put basic bolt ons you have to swap a header and cat from the ex just to have headers, so the EG will save ya less time...and i just like the EGs better. and i own one.

I used to have a '90 CRX DX but sold that. I used to love the EGs more but now the EKs are growing on me. Are they any opinions that are not based on looks? Like chasis, suspension, interior, reliability etc etc.?

 

92 si,!!!the ek's are nice form afar,but when you acually get in them there all funky the seats are all high in the air like a ford escort and the dash is big and usless.after alot of mods they look great though...but i still say stick with the eg, and in a few years youll be able to get historic vehicle plates!

 

if you are not modding the car i would go with a 92-95 hatch, the lokk cool, and have all the comforts you want in a daily driver, power everything and a sunroof. They also have a peppy engine.

 

What colors do they have for the 92-95 Si? I've only seen red and blue.

 

I would get an EK just because everone and their mothers have EG's. I mean it, everonye around me has an eg, and a typical gsr swap. I like the EK's the front end, it is so nice, and the white 99's look so hot. You can get those cool ssr? srr? rear control arms for the ek too. Teh only downfall is its heavier and more$$.

 

I've got to vote for the eg hatch. The more I see 'em, the more I like 'em. It is an unmistakebly unique looking automobile!

 

umm, theres also black, and the teal green color that i have. and white, and a chorocal grayish color i think. thats about it i think.

 

Get a 99-00 hatch....

Since he's not looking to swap...just i/h/e at the most...SI eg is so much better. Unless of course u like the looks of the EK hatch. But so many more options for the si...not to mention the nice little motor.

I checked out that website and it says that the 92-95 Si w/ ABS weighs 3300 something pounds? Is that true? That seems WAY too much for such a small car. If I could find a white si then I'll be buying a 92-25 H/B. An EK would be better to work with if I were going to look for a B16A swap right? Thanks for all the help everyone.

92-95..proud owner of a 92dx..or could it because i have a TYPE R dash in it..??? ...i still like it though..because i don't like the 96+ back...
