Default Type-S Motor in my Si

So, finally spun that rod bearing in my h23

I figure its time to go h22...but not just any h22.. the fabled Type<FONT COLOR="red">S</FONT>
so in a couple months i'll have enough money for the swap.

in searching this is the most helpful thing i found: (credit: Finest)

Things you'll need to work in an OBD-I environment:

OBD-I distributor
OBD-I P13 ecu
H22a1 injectors *peak and hold*
USDM H22a1 fuel rail

Everything else is a bolt in. Mounts/axles/etc. Wire in the appropriate VTEC wires and you'll be good to go. Just remember to use 92+ octane, since you're running high compression.
</TD></TR></TABLE>

Now... is there anything else i need to worry about (do i actually need all of that)?

i am going to go high-flow cat/test pipe, so i wont have to worry about my exhaust fitting strangely.

I also need to know what's up with wiring.. is that a huge issue or what? can anyone offer a quick: 'what to look for'?

I'm looking to buy from H-Motors Online. I've read that these guys are the most reputable. And correct me if i'm wrong but this is the euroR H22A7 with the T2W4 Tranny.

What are your plans for this motor ?? If you are just going to drop it in then maybe get a header and intake, that sure go for it.

If you want aftermarket valvetrain, cams etc this swap will be a waste of money.

oh and also, as i recall the type S has atts, so good luck with that whole problem. damn that atts unit.

My plans are just to tune it with a VAFC, already have a CAI. I plan to buy a header, maybe your basic greddy and leave it all alone.

The type S that i'm looking at is the Accord Type-R japanese Type-S with the U2Q7 tranny..that has LSD and no ATTS to deal with.

The Type S cams and Pistons are enough for me in terms of internals.

Can someone pllllease confirm that list of things ill need to work with my OBD-I Si?

just to straighten things up:

Accord Type R engine: H22A7 + U2Q7 tranny with LSD- met in Europe
It has the same internals as Prelude Type S engine.
EuroR with T2W4 comes from Japanese Accord.

and also less mileage. i'm not saying its 100% worth it but it'd be nice.

if its possible, why not do it? I'd probably spend 1 grand getting a hold of a type-s valve train and pison/rod setup with the install.. i also plan to sell my h23 parts to offset the cost.

plus i've read that well tuned h22a7's produce some nice numbers- and ive been told that TypeR tranny is worth it.
