My AC compressor's making funny noises, so i figure that it's about to go. In replacing it, is there anything else i need to replace? First thing, i know that i have to have the freon evacuated before i remove anything. But what about the receiver drier? Do i need to replace that when replacing the compressor?

 

When I had my compressor replaced, I also had the o-rings, and dryer replaced. The dryer cost me $43.

 

I looked on Autozone and i didn't see a "receiver drier." I did see an AC accumulator, which is the same, right?
