Default Repaint: New color or stock color?

I want your inputs on how I should repaint my car, 'cuz I don't want to spend 3 grand and regret the outcome. I was gonna plan on keeping it some shade of silver, so I wouldn't need to worry about things like the door jambs and the engine bay. But there's a lot of black on the car (molding, tinted windows, door handles, mirrors, etc.) and I think it would look a lot better with a dark grey metallic. So the poll options are:
1) Silver
2) Dark grey and deal with the silver engine bay

The car in question is an 89 Si and will have a WW kit. If anyone has any pictures of a CRX with the kit in either of those colors, that'd help out a bunch too. Here's a picture to lure people into the thread:

Asturias Grey Metallic. (Honda colour code NH-502M)

it's a dark silver, so you get best of both worlds.

yeah, that website is cool; the problem is the paint chips look very little like the actual colours.

Just get that stock grey redone; that grey isn't seen very much, especially down here in CFL, and has a class of its own. Oh, and my sedan came that way so I am a little biased.

I saw an Audi TT at the dealership that was light gray primer with a clearcoat over it. There's also a dark primer with clearcoat. I considering the lighter one. That will compliment my black bumpers, black rims and cf hood. Downside i need a black interior to match, blue will look funny. Or i could get oem b35-m and be lazy.

Paintscratch is very overpriced imo. I like the audi tt colors suggested, I'd go with one of them.

Pics will be up in about 2 hours. It was JUST Painted last night. although we have to wait a few days and repaint the drivers side 1/4 pannel My dad walked into a tripod light and it fell on the car.. No dents just some scuffs and some water splashes.. Looks well like ****. Easy fix though.

The other side and front is flawless though! It has a nice shine and sparkle to it

Paint it stock, unless you plan on painting door jams, inside the hatch area, under the hood.. etc.

Paint it stock or a subtle variation of stock....like adding pearl or more of the finer metallic flake.
Our cars are so old that 90% of them that haven't already been repainted are some shade of need. And most of the kids on here didn't own the car when it was new to remember how good they looked.

Paintscratch.com is a great tool to look up paint codes...I don't know if i would buy anything more then touch up paint there tho.

Personally, I'm going with VW Silver Arrow Metallic...someday
