Default Si or not.

I recently purchased a tranny, not im having second thoughts on it , wheater its an si or not. This is my tranny number L3-1175655. Thanks

No, all D-series trannys for 88-91 I believe are L3.. PL3/3000 cast into the casing just above the fill plug = Si
PL3/A000 or A100 denotes the smaller bearing HF, DX, STD tranny. - Darrell

sounds right...i cant remember without looking it up myself.

Look on your Transmission block and post up what is imprinted upon it.

well I bought a 89 CRX si tranny without the block because I'm trying to sway a 99 D18Y8 into my crx.. ALl I want to know is if I can use this tranny and mate it up with the 99 engine? Thanks
