misfiring @8200rpm tiil redline!
Hi guys ... i have slight problem in all of a sudden .. when i reach 8000rpm-8800rpm at top gear the car starts misfiring.
Very strange that i can notice, is that it does it only on 4 gear at does rpm..
I cannot understand why it does it only on that gear..
Can anybody give me a hint on what is happening PLS...

What are your gaps on your plugs set at?
Make sure they are set to about .028-.030. If they are any wider then the boost is probably blowing the spark out under heavy load (high rpms).

can you be a bit more specific regarding rpm? while you shouldn't hit rev limiter at 8K, you should hit one at 8.5K.. also, tachometer is often inaccurate

If your running stock valvetrain and running past 8500 rpm, a slight misfire will be the least of your worries before long. But like was said before, check your plug gap first.

I had a similar problem with e-manage, running too rich. What's your fuel management? A/F? The stock ITR ECU was running me at 90+ injector duty cycle above 7800 RPM.
Definitely check plugs first.

I am running the stock ecu inline pump and a 12.1 a/f ratio @ 0.55bar..
i tested the car on a dyno a few months ago and everything was working perfect.
This happened in all of a sudden!
But i will check my plugs first.. try and a have ago from there ...
