im not shure but i swear i heard somewhere that if you use a gsr mani you have to use the cat as well for your exhaust to fit

what it is, is that the Gsr manifold is shorter then the LS/B16 mani's. I think you may have to use the gsr cat or get a larger/longer cat. you might have to use a different exhaust manifold.....

On my B18C/HCP mounts my exhaust bolted right up. I used at stock GSR header (94 or 95 I believe), Greddy SP2 but my stock DX cat which is 15" long. I just had to push the Greddy SP2 back about 2 inches and it bolted on.

Maybe you got an OEM 99+ GSR header by mistake? arent the 99+ headers shorter?

looks good waylon. Finally it's almost complete. I would just get a longer aftermarket highflow cat. How long is the LS cat? Just get one a few inches longer. By the way, Waylon is a great guy and I would vouch for him anytime. for you mang.

i am thinkin if i go to an exhaust shop and tell them to cut the cat flange and ad some pipe there they should be able to fix it right? or do something to get it to work?

i need this done...

with my b16 mine was short too.
so i cut off the flange and added about 2 or 3 inches to the exhaust. works perfectly
