Default Question for the All-Motor Guys

Im thinking about doing an all motor setup instead of turbo...I already have a GSR...I was thinking about a 2.1 L say 12.5: or 13:1 i dont mind running 100 all the time...also what cams will be ideal for this..and the car is a EK hatch...i plan on keeping AC...Any ideas on what power this will make and if that car is too heavy will be apprecciated...Thanks in advance

you just talk about compression................

What are you going to have in the head? I mean what kind of port work? what kind fo other goodies? what WHP do you want to make. We could better help you make a good decision if you tell what you really want to use this car for. I mean if you drive 8 miles to work then driving it will be no problem, if ya drive 100 miles roudn trip then that might get a little expensive ( trust me money burnt a hole real quick in my pants HAHA)

What fuel management system are you going to use? If you get a good fuel management setup, and pay an experienced tuner to tune it for you, you could very well get away with running 91 octane on something like 12.5:1, or close to it. Either way, I am hoping you are planning on running some worthwhile cams for 11.5:1+ compression, but once again, you'll need to worry about a fuel management setup just so you can idle the thing.

hehe it's jamal

Well aslong as you plan on making a good amout of hp, because you were going to go turbo you will need to build up a good AM set-up

High Lift cams- search
High comp Pistons - IB spec pistons ( they make real good power and dont cost much)
rods- Eagle's are fine
crank- that stuff will mess with your head, jk! whether you should Knifedge
porting the head- Search
TB- 70mm plus+
IM - skunk 2, ITR depeding on what head you use.
Tuner- I get tuned by JERRY BUILT AND Jeff of IB so there both real good and help out alot.

GOODLUCK
