im planning to spend about $450 on brakes really soon, I own a 95 GS-R and would like to know what i could or should get for that amount. If you guys know im open to any suggestions. It doesnt have to be a whole brake kit just a brake upgrade like maybe rotors, brake lines and pads just help me out.

 

What type of use are the brakes going to get? Why not go for some auto zone rotors, and axis ultimates. That should not set you back too much, and you will have some money left over? Not to mention, I am sure you will be happy with the brake set-up

 

you won't be able to afford a decent big brake kit for that budget which is fine. just upgrade all 4 rotors, maybe some brembo blanks (you dont need x drilled or slotted) then some performance brake pads. that should only be around 200$. i'm sure you'll be happy with that.

 

i have SS brake lines, ate brake fluid, axxis ultimate brake pads and i think they are great. i am thinking about getting some brembo blanks. i do not know much about brakes btw. that's all for my .02

 

brembo blanks and aem/nissin pads....all together should be $200.00 or less
