Help me out!!! debtating on buying a car (2.2cl 2 door, red)
ok i have a chance to purchase a 1998 2.2cl for very cheap. i'm not much of a cl fan but it is honda/acura so i am interesed. I just don't know what is interchangeable with other honda/acura models and i don't know if it would be a waste of my time and money, that is if nothing is interchangeable.
just a little run down of the car: front-end damage to hood, d.s. fender, bumber, and headlights. Engine(f22b1)(112,xxx) still runs has manual trans but bad p.s. axle (no big deal), interior is excellent but both air bags are blown, all power options (seats, sunroof, cruise).Pretty much from the front of the doors back is in perfect condition except the air bags
he is going to be selling the whole car for 600 or just the motor swap for 500 and needs it gone by end of day tomarrow
thanks in advance
EDIT: TRIED SEARCH, FOUND NOTHING USEFUL

I had a black '97 2.2 CL before I bought my Integra Type R. My CL was a daily driver, and was an excellent car. The car was very comfortable, reliable, and good looking (imo). Mine had a beautiful Flamingo Black Pearl paint job w/chrome Acura rims and Yokohama low profile treads. The car was a bit heavy for the four cyl. engine, and the shifter was not too friendly. Both of these shortcomings can be corrected without too much trouble. My current daily driver is an Integra LS, which handles better that the CL but is not nearly as comfortable.

could you elaborate please.

The shifter was long throw, sloppy, and did not shift smoothly. The B&M short shift kit should fix at least two of those items, maybe all three. I bought one, but sold the car before installing it.
thanks guys for the help on the cl, but pops won't let me have another wrecked car sittin' at the house. he says it looks trashy (whatever)
those damn parents just don't understand (haha!)
