Advice on buyin '04 accord
Need your opinions.
My friend is going to get a 2004 Honda Accord EX (all options except navi). We've been to 2 dealerships already. Dealer #1 offered 24,900.00 and dealer #2 offered $24,800. Anyone know how much lower the price can possibly get? Dealer Invoice on the car is $23,000 (I think - one dealer said that, and I have my doubts).
What do you guys think?

Cars Direct: $23,333 should be your target price. (v6 coupe manual w/o navi)
Do your research before actually going to a car dealer, otherwise they'll rip you off. If you don't research, you deserve it.

Given that the 2005's will be coming out soon, dealers will be trying to get rid of 2004 stock which should enable you to get a pretty good deal. Inquire about rebates, look on the internet. Get quotes from various dealers in your area. Some dealers have "internet prices" and that could save you big. That's how I got my Nissan Pathfinder. Got an internet quote from a local dealer, went there and they had to give me the car for that price because I had it in writing. Just a thought.
