Default Good or Bad deal? You tell me...

I recently got a comptech exhaust system for my lil bro's 03 Civic Si. We plan to get the header later too, but he is going N/A since Boost is so much more expensive (I know 1st hand ). With that he already got a AEM CIA...and a NX WET kit thats not installed yet.

What I need to know is if I got the exhaust system for a deal or not... $415 shipped. I myself have never bought a BRAND NEW SYSTEM, always a used one. I know most companies like Greddy, APEXi and etc sell them for around there....er i think.

Just need some input, also anyone who wants to get rid of the Comptech header...holla back

I think it's a pretty good deal. by the way. anyway you fixed up your motor for N/A or boost, it's not going to be cheap. I've seen N/A setups that cost more then turbo.

I always did think that an N/A would be more expensive unless it's your weekend driver and you can do all the work your self...

I think 415 was a dang good price, most used go for 500 and up. So in other words good deal

Well yeah I know N/A will be expensive, but he won't be doing it hardcore. Just some Nitrous and bolt-ons. No headwork or anything, just trying to see some 14s and 13s...

yeah.... 13's N/A will be about the same price as 13's boost... but as soon as you want low 13's or 12's, your looking at more then boost.

thats a good price on the exhaust btw

Well...

i was thinking about it...i told him to do nitrous and see what happens. Maybe 80-100 shot...i dont think he is that hardcore about hitting 12s and 13s. As long as he hits 13s...or 14s its all good.

Turbo, its always an option. Something cheap...im trying to keep him away from spending too much money like me

Why is that? I thought these new motors could handle nitrous....plus the car will be tuned via hondata k pro
