Default 12V dc to 28V dc?

If I have an application on my car that will require 28 volts of DC, is there like a dc to dc transformer I can use?? Can someone help me out? Thanks guys.

BTW, they are aircraft landing lights for a rallykaa

You need an inverter. You also need to know how much current you need.

You could use a DC to DC, but to make one that will work with the amps i'm assuming the lights would draw would be rather expensive.
