Default water pump

where is the water pump located on a gsr? and how do i know the water pump is the cause of my overheating? i changed my fan switch, and thermo, and my fan never goes on at idle, and the car slowly overheats, my thermo opens randomly too sometimes..

maybe you have air bubbles in your cooling system. my LS engine would randomly overheat and then drop down to cool by itself until i got the air pockets out and added more fluid...
