Default resistor box question

what does a resistor box do, i know it has something to do with the injector or something like that could you please tell me i'm not really to sure on what it does. Thanks

because one of my friends is selling me his turbo kit and i almost feel stupid asking him so i posted on here. he is giving me a resistor box and injectors and i was just wondering what exactly does a resistor box do

a resistor box lowers the amount of current that is sent to the injectors. some injectors are high impedance and some are low impedance. u need the resistor box so that u dont burn out the injectors. im not 100% sure but u only need the resistor box when u have low impedance injectors. dont quote me on this....
