can you add oil to ur engine by urself in between oil change?

Default can you add oil to ur engine by urself in between oil change?

i understand that i need an oil change every 6000KM......but when my car has run for 3000KM....can i just buy some synthetic oil and add to the engine by myself.....since it's at a pretty low level......

BTW i am using synthetic oil so.......and my car is under KM as well

Of course! ... You should your oil level frequently.

add oil when youre running a little low. Do oil change every 3k miles.

adding oil to your engine without doing a complete oil change is like taking a shower with your clothes on. you shouldn't mix it if possible and only if the pressure is extremely low. always change the oil and filter at the same time.

So your saying that if yor oil level is low change the oil?

you can add oil when needed. just change your oil and filter every 3,000 miles.

just stick with the same oil and never over fill! be sure to ck every 750 to 1k miles some ITR's burn richer then others. I use Mobil 1 5/30 with the honda filter or sometimes the Mobil 1 filter...
