Default Auto-xers, Practice on your computer

I've been playing Sports Car GT for awhile and thought it was the best racing game that exists. Well today searching around I found out you can add cars and extra tracks. I found about 4 different auto-x courses that you can use to practice on. It is very realistic and a lot of fun. http://tiresmoke.simracing.com/ and http://www.theuspits.com./fbody/scgt/index.html are the two sites i downloaded all the stuff on. If you don't have the game its only like $10 since its about 2 years old but still a great game with excellent graphics. It usually comes in those 5 pack games.

It comes with a Logitech WingMan Formula Force GP, too! Fun game and triple with a FF steering wheel!

try out some of the new tracks and cars. I got an audi R8R, got up to 258mph in it. The auto-x tracks are addicting.

I've got the cars, but I've never seen a good description of how to get the add-on tracks in there.. can anybody point me to one?

I don't mean where to put them into such-and-such directory, as best as I can tell I am doing that right.. I mean that one critical step so that you can actually _race_ on the tracks you've downloaded.. They don't show up when I start the game.

And yes, this is a fun game.. I wish I could determine if it were a useful practice tool or not.. (with add-on cars, and the V-Edit program, you can go a long way to simulating your own car! )

There was, at one time at least, an online autocross league for this game too.. don't recall the specifics, though..

any links to an explanation of getting the tracks to show up would be greatly appreciated..

After you select you user name then type in "isi-cheeseman".This enables the edit or "cheat" mode. You can then type in "isi-tbone" to unlock all cars and tracks. You will still have to purchase any vehicle you want to drive. And if you don't have enough money you can always type in "isi-aardvark" to give yourself an extra $5 million...each time you type it in too. So type "isi-aardvark" in a few times to become a wealthy millionare...LOL.

I found it to be a usefull tool...I had edited a GSR (that pukey riced out looking one though) to handle as close to my '90 as possible and it worked pretty well. Racing it in Aardvark Park makes for some intense moments - especially against Porsches and BMW's....whoooooeeeeee. I got it to where even though the others were faster I could still beat them as the AI is weak in the corners. Also, some mad blocking with the GT2 Porsches helps keep them in check on the straights...buaahhaaaahhhaaa! lol

P.S. Here's an animated GIF I created awhile back from a nice spin recovery I managed from an off while driving a Panoz GTR...enjoy...
