Hey guys i just got the center console out of a 98 GSR and need help putting it in. Do i have to cut it to fit? If possible post a how to for me. Thanx.

 

Just take off the bottom part of the original console with the ashtray and lighter on it. Then your gonna have to drill a hole through the front of the integ console on the drivers side because the screw holes wont line up but they do on the passenger side. Then you need the rear bracket out of an integra which gets bolted on underneath the parking brake bracket, you might have to drill to it but its easy. then slide the arm rest piece into the front piece and down over that bracket and there should be some screw holes in the back of the armrest where it connects with the bracket. If it does not line up get it to where you want it and drill a hole through the bracket and put the screws in it. It should fit nice and snug and there will be a little gap on the sides where it connects to the dash. I hope this helped if you need any more help just ask.

 

i've got my console in but i am having problems mounting it in the middle. Where can you screw it in in the middle of the two pieces.
