I'm going to put a component set in the accord soon, but I don't want to put the tweeters on the dash since it sits too far from the mids. I want to use kick panels since it'll be too much work. Does anyone have any suggestions or pics of your setup? Also, is it worth running thicker speaker wires to the mids/highs. I know it's a pain, so I would like to know if it's worth it. Thanks.

 

I'm gonna guess you aren't running enough power to the speakers for the wire to make too much difference. Do you have an amp for the mids and highs, if so how much power? Also, tweeters are VERY directional so putting them up at the OEM location pointing towards the glass is actually really good since it will reflect off the glass and give it more direction. You'd have better luck posting this in the A/V section.

 

I still need to decide on the amp, but about 50w rms or 100w rms to each side.

 

At those power levels I don't think new wires would be necessary or worth your time.
