Default I get to keep my next check!

Hey guys, I have an '02 RSX. I get to keep my next check, so I was wanting some suggestions for coilovers or springs for my car. I am going to be doing some research on some. My budget is probably going to be around 300-400 dollars. I know it isnt much, but I'm 16 so give me a break lol. Post pics too of ur rsx with whatever springs/coils so I can see how they look.

I got Goldline springs for my RSX. 1.5" drop, still rides the same as when it was stock. $120 off of Clubrsx I believe.

for 400 bucks u won't be able to get coilovers. springs are only option with that budget. cheapest coilovers are hayame non adjustables and those are 800 i believe. plus the installation and the alignment will run you into 1000.

eibach prokits are 1.0/1.4
eibach sportline are 1.5/1.8
clubrsx springs are 1.75/1.75
tein stech are 1.7 1.4

that's all the common ones. pick and choose

eibach springs dont run level. the front is usually higher than the rear, on some applications, it's the other way around. H&R is good, if you want some kind of coilover you could get some skunk2 coilovers, they ride nice and they are fairly inexpensive, at about $300. do some research though so you know what to look for. remember you get what you pay for.

I say that only go for the STi if you can handle it. Just don't rush into it and end up in a bad situation. Until then, enjoy the RSX.

I have a set of RSX-S stock struts with tophats and everything with H&R Sport Springs already on them. I'm selling them (shocks and springs) for $100 + shipping if you want them. They were 9800 miles old when they came off a totalled car and look to be in good condition. PM me if you're interested. They're also already packed and ready to go, so you say the word and shoot me a paypal and they're on there way.

Here is my RSX-S on Tein S-tech springs, they are a little stiff but if I could do it over again I would have probably got a set of Eibach Sportlines or the Club RSX springs.

I have to wonder how if this year $400 is "alot of money" how you're going to be able to afford a $32K car next year?

If your RSX is completely paid off by then, you'll be looking at financing around $20K. Even on a 60 month loan (assuming good credit), that's over $400 a month.

your 16, you should just be happy with your RSX. trading up to an STI will just cost you more and insurance will be a bitch. Save your money.
