Default Rare Find

I just have found a 91 Crx Dx Automatic that i am going to convert to a five speed, and i just wanna know what type of motor i should i drop in because the 1.5 that is in there is toast. Any ideas will be great.

why is that a rare find?

you should buy a 5spd if thats what you want.

Search the Archives for motors that suit your needs....

BTW read the FAQ for your research.

From what I've heard, doing the automatic to manual conversion is a P.I.T.A. if you don't have all the little parts. I would just look for a manual IMO.

5 spd conversion is not that bad if you're gonna swap out hte motor anyways. But do a search and find a motor that suits your needs.

best bang for buck DOHC ZC. But i'm big fan of the B motors they take more worth cost some more but are sweet!

It's not a PITA.

Make sure you have all the parts all the way down to the last bolt and it's a breeze.

Yea, there's no fabrication or anything silly like that. PITA if you try and short-do it. Read up on it and double check every part you need and it'll be a breeze.
