in my oppinion, every car is going to be different...and there is no perfect setting.. because if there was a perfect setting, why need to have them be adjustable.. they could just sell them all with the perfect settings... it's just test and tune, and a setting that you feel comfortable with....there should be a standard setting and you have to work from there to get what you want..

theres a couple different ways. The way people adjust wings is they take the car out for a lap and try to anticipate when over steer will occur on the turns. You then adjust the wing accordingly.

As far as suspension, u can do it the same method. Start by setting everything on the hardest. Then just adjust a pair softer and softer until u get what you want.

You can go to the Tein website and they recommend a ride height and dampening for the front and rear. That can be your starting point then adjust to your likings...

is that on any specific strut tho? Do they equipt alltheir adjustable struts with the same number of notches? I've only had expirience with my HAs as far as Tein goes.

Here is the setup that they recommend, it shows all the different springs and coilovers: http://tein.com/ti/a58.html

And here are the instruction manual for the Tein RA coilovers for the S2000: http://tein.com/ti/inst/ph64u.pdf

I'm not sure if all the Tein models have the same number of dampening adjustability, but most the Tein coilovers are 16-way adjustable. For the RA's they recommend 10clicks back from the hardest setting in the front and 6clicks back from the hardest setting in the rear.

P.S. All this stuff is listed on the Tein website under Technical Information

Put it this way, both JIC and Tein produce good products and are used for professional road racing, drifting, autox, etc. Get whichever you get a better deal on or if you just simply want a certain brand.
