i just put a d15b2 it in a 1991 civic and i'm getting power to the coil but there no spark what could i do about this.

We could Really use some more info. Like did it Run befor? Did you Check youre Coils resistance.? Theres alot you could tell us. And I belive a D15A1 Is form a 87 and down Civic. You need to get youre info Correct if you want some help. You cant just expect us to know Whats wrong.

 

the guy i got the engine from said the motor ran when he took it out and the car i took the distributor ran like 10 min before i took it out and put it in mine and i replaced the coil but theres still no spark i dont know how to check the Coils resistance and i try swaping the ecu cause the motor that was in the car was a d15b1 and the new motor is a d15b2 i dont know if that would make a difference and someone told me it could be in the wiring harness itself

 

fixed it my timeing was off thanx for all your help
