Default Hondatas benefits from switching from OBD0 to OBD1.... is it just the o2 sensors??

I have an 89 civic dx that has a 1'st gen b16a in it. I am currently trying to find out which hondata to buy. They make hondata for PW0 and PR3, but Hondatas website says they recommend going to OBD1. Which means I would have to get a conversion harness, and run an obd1 distributor. I would have to swap the plugs from the obd0 distributor to the obd1 distributor. That sounds like a pain in the ***.... so what are the benefits? Is it just to go from 2 o2 sensors to 1????
