Default 92-95 sohc vtec into 93 Civic Dx Hatch

As the topic says, I've 90% decided to do this swap because it is cheap and easy. However, how easy I don't know...

If I get the complete dropout (tranny, ecu, axles, mounts, etc) is there anything else that I'll need? Probably going to pick this up next weekend, so any advice would be helpful.

Thanks.

Go DOHC Todd...you won't regret it. Even if you decide on B18B...you can still upgrade it later!

I know, but less than $1000 for a complete 1.6 sohc vtec motorswap is very tempting. GSR motors are ~$3000, and for $1K + another 1K, I'll have a just as fast and lighter motor for cheaper. You don't think I'd leave the 1.6 stock, do you??

You'll love the additional torque of a B-series DOHC...even if you find a B18B. Sorry Todd, just trying to help. Get what you want man.

You'll only need 6 ft of speaker wire and 5-6 crimp connectors to go from DX to Si/EX motor.

Axles and mounts are same, so no need to worry about that. Trannys interchange just as easy.

Easy swap. I did mine in 10 hours using a comealong to lift engine/tranny.

I would love to right now, but I have commited to a double B16 swap. We installed the motor last NYE, but he wrecked his CRX. He bought a Civic Si HB to replace. We have to pull the B16 swap out of the wreck and install it into the HB after we get the D motor out.

What part of oHIo are you in? I might know someone that could help.
