Default Why does this always happen? *long*

So i bought my civic about Jan. of 04. i take it to a track, and **** up my jdm hood. i think nothing of it, i order a hood from passwordjdm...i've delt with them in the past, talk ot leo when he just got there from hybrid. So i'm alright with it. i wait a week, and get my "new" used jdm hood. the body shop won't touch it it's such bad shape. so i call leo, wait 2 weeks, and he sends me another one. after tons of labor, that hood finally fits the car. Great, so i just let it go, since it got fixed and everything is ok.


Well, skip to about a 3 weeks ago, the body shop has my car again, and **** happens, and my amazing hood gets fucked up. Thats fine, the guy doing the work is an awsome friend and is very cool about everything. i call everywhere, and can't find a stock hood. so i call around and find a carbon fiber hood. No one has one in stock, except passwordjdm. So now i think to myself, should i order it from them, or should i keep looking? i say **** it, and order from leo, who i talked to on the phone for about 45 minutes about the last ordeal, honda-tech etc. He promises it will get all taken care of, and i should have it by last friday. Well, it doesn't come last friday, thats fine, no big deal, it'll be here by monday or so. so i call this morning when i have a chance to get a tracking number. i call, talk to a lady, she brings up my order. and guess what? yea, the worse you think could happen, it didn't even ship yet. She says that usually when orders get billed, they get sent to the warehouse to get shipped out. my retort is my CC was billed last friday? why hasn't it shipped yet? Leo isn't there, and she said it'll ship today and leo will call me back....

Why does stupid **** like this constantly happen?

You have to expect this when you are using parts that cannot be sourced from the US. Either learn to deal with it or put a USDM front on the car.

Just be glad that PasswordJDM makes the effort and can actually still get JDM EF body panels in usable condition.

That doesnt make since, if they didnt have one in stock then theres no way it would of been there by last friday. Its teh companys responsibility to set the expectation of when your going to receive your parts.

i think you mis-read what i wrote...he said they had one in stock, and its made in the usa by VIS i believe. He also said it would ship ethier that day or last tuesday...and would be here by last friday....Now its monday, and my hood hasn't even left cali.

1 week and still hasn't ship it yet!

So guess what? i call back today, because the lady said Leo would call me back yesterday by 5...guess what? he never did. big surprise....Anyways, i call, and want to get a tracking number....it STILL hasn't shipped out. Leo is supposed to call me back by their closing today (5:00). their website says they ship product 48 hours after the order has been placed....in this case is a week and a half that acceptable?

no..waiting that long to ship a part that you were told is IN STOCKand it still hasnt shipped is beyond fucked..i dont wanna start a **** talking bash about leo/password but..ive heard all i needed to hear in many threads on here and wont ever order from there and i'm sure if someone reads this and says..whatever ricer/noob/[insert other hater name]we dont want your money..thats fine..you wont get my damn money(yes..i too am grumpy from getting screwed on shipments before)my c/f hood had a drama/story all it's own when i ordered it earlier this year..similar to your story but..they cleared up the mistake and it happened to be the carriers fault somehow(my hood wasnt in stock at the time)good luck and keep us posted..i hope everyone feels the need to vent when they get bad service because..you may save someone else from getting fucked over.

Thats the story of my life man. I FUKIN cant stand it when someone tells u they are suppost to call u, and they dont. But u expected that, and i would have too. If they cant fill orders, then they shouldnt be taking them, simple as that. I think they are understaffed too, just from what ive seen at their establishment.

who would have thought? Leo called me back yesterday.....He said sorry quiet a few times, and we came to terms. My hood should have shipped out yesterday, i'll call later today and get a tracking number. he promised it by this thursday/friday.

He basicly admitted they fucked up, he had some long story about guys from norcal they sponsored came by blah blah blah, then after that, he said that he didn't have it in stock, and wanted to wait untill other orders were put through to do the pickup from vis to the warehouse. Then i mentioned that their website says stuff ships within 48 hours of billing, then he back pedaled to, yes, we have it in stock, it didn't ship because we messed up. Leo's a great guy, but i'll never order anything from password again.....go JHP!
