It's been the third time in 4 months!! First my ITR got keyed all over...then I painted it and it got keyed again on one side and now my Honda Logo got keyed too!! WTF?!! how often does this happen to you??
I don't want to seem extreme but is it possible to install a mini security camera inside the car?

Never had it happen to me...

You could install a camera looking at the car. It will probably give you a better view of the *ssh*le doing it.....so you can track and destroy...

 

It all depends on the neighbourhood. And whether those criminals know what kind of car it is.

Been keyed once.........just learned from the mistake and dont park my caR anywhere at night now. If i am driving in the evenings the beateR is on the prowl

mini camera sounds like a good idea to me.. especially if it keeps happening in one particular place..

 

the only reason I can think of is jealousy...otherwise the body shop guy where I had it painted in the past...he did a bad job and ows me 8000$...

I park it in front of my house...but this **** has been happening downtown at night...so the camera would have to be mounted somewhere in the car...

 

Maybe it is less to do with the car and more to do with someone not liking you???

It is annoying that some people are cowards and if they have a problem with someone they rather "key" a car than just be "real" and tell the person the problem (if this is the case in this point.)

Never been keyed and the car's been to movies, malls, school and its never been touched. Only time it gets mesesd with is when i get stupid car show flyers or performance shop cards.

Sucks that ppl hate, i live near 5 ITR's and mine's been the only 1 thats untouched.

Mine has never been keyed but it has been hit in a parking lot. Just be careful where you park and try to keep an eye on it.

The only place I leave mine parked unattended is at the office. I also keep a webcam on my car. Here's a shot from a while ago with the USDM front end when it was my daily driver.

 

Never... but I would bet on the odds it has to be the same @sshole doing it over and over.

It was actually taken on May 29, 2003. I used to have the wecam auto FTP up pictures of the car every 5 minutes. That is when I turned that feature off.

My old hatch got keyed 8 times in 1 year.

 

Twice in a week once. But it has stopped for the time being.

 

I say do a stake out! I think that is bullshit when someone takes it out on your wheels and isn't man enough to do anyhitng to your face. What a bunch of scumbags!!!

 

damn I just found out that the body shop guy was in the same place I was the night I think it got keyed...so it's very possible he did it!!

no nothing like that...if it's not him it's probably a girl since jealousy among girls can cause some very nasty things...I could get an alarm but I don't know if that would help...

 

on the 2nd day since getting my itr i already had some parking damage
(number plate squashed and bumper scratched)
when i got it from repaint someone broke off my sidemirror on purpose
then i had enough and got myself a garage
