Default how many lbs can stock b16a2 handle??

On my 00 si im worried that im going to blow the motor because, i drive like the biggest *******.

So i was wondering once i boost it with the greddy kit will my b16a2 handle 6lbs of boost the way i drive (which is seeing vtec 5-10 times daily)? So this constant beating of it with 6lbs will or wont hurt it?

Secondly, I know the main thing people are going to say is if it is tunned right nothing should go wrong. But i want to know is it really worth it to go with a hondata, or should i go with the Apexi Vtec controler? and why?

Thirdly, this Greddy kit im going to buy also comes with a "Greddy FCU" does anybody know about that and if it comes with this "Greddy FCU", would i even need a ECU? Seeing how all you need to tune is more fuel because the engine will be recieving more air correct?

The way i want this post responded to is by answering each paragraph with 1,2, and 3.

I.E

1. Your b16a2 will be able to handle the boost application as you stated with you drivin like an idiot.

2. blah blah blah ....

Motors grenading don't come from running too many "psi", they come from making too much power.

Your B16A2 swap in stock form on the GReddy kit should be able to make 250whp reliably, but not with the GReddy "FCU".

Get Hondata or similar as far as management goes. The idle will be better, partial throttle will be 100x better, and there's just more tunability in general vs. the hack, blue box, or FMU.

I'm a fan of the 18G kits... the biggest factors that limit the kit are the FCU, internal gate, and small downpipe. Good luck.
