pull the c1-c2 wires again and squeeze the connector that goes over the pin. sometimes when you pull them out they will stretch and not make full contact.

that was my problem with my buddys car.

I changed the distributor to a used jdm one and still doesn't work. I'm probably going to rerun the wires tomorrow with some brand new one and not one from a wire harness. I also will be redoing the timing belt tomorrow too. I let you guys know the outcome.

Isn't the wires supposed to be in pins c1 and c2. The motor did rev up like two great times which lasted like less than 24 hours with the way the wires are now, so i don't think that is the problem.

c1 and c2 where supposed to be cut and put into b10 and b12 for crank angle sensor then back to c1 and 2 run wires for your cylinder position sensor

I'm using a chipped p06 right now and currently waiting for my p07 to be chipped. The ecu is non vtec but it doesn't matter, i can't hit vtec anyway.

Did anyone ever find out what the problem was to this senario??? I have a 91 civic si with a d16z6 Swap. I'm running the 91 (D16a6 dizzy,ECU,injectors, and the ignitor box). When I first drive the car the thing zips around great, once the engine reaches a normal temp I have the same problem mentioned with the studdering at 3200 RPM's. Any and all help will be appreciated!

I have a d15z1 block with d15b2 pistons, d16z6 head, d15z1 ditributor, a p06 ecu d16z6 injectors. I'm running obd-1, I heard that it supposed to be safer, or something like that.
