Default So I want a little more compression???

Ok I've heard of people taking there oem head gasket and only using one or two of the 3 layers... So i was wondering I have ctr pistons in my b16. If i were to do that would the piston to valve clearance be shot and would i end up with bent valves...... Cause I was thinking of dismantling one and just using 1 layer. Has anyone done this before I've seen a few threads on the topic but none with a b16 with ctr pistons... any help would be grateful..........

Flat faced valves is another way that I heard of recently. My personally...I would just get a head gasket that is thin already. I'm thinking like Mugen or some other company like that would have one.

You can do that to the OEM gasket if you want to, but only to a new gasket; however I suggest on getting an aftermarket headgasket! Either way you go, no matter what setup, CLAY THE MOTOR for valve to piston clearance!

yeah , correct you can only do this with a new gasket, and would only do this if you know what your doing, Your now messing with a vital part in your egine. If you have the money i would honestly suggest on buying a spoon or '
Toda head gasket to ensure proper sealing.
