Friend of mine just got into an accident. Airbags deployed, but she needs to drive the car around for another week before she can get the car looked at. (she's fine btw) would it be ok if we cut the bags so she could drive around for a week? these are one-time use only things, right? they don't get rolled back up and into the car like some moron that is over here thought, correct?

Yes they are one use.

Why doesn't she just get it fixed and get a rental.

 

hey if your friend still needs airbag advice.. take the money the insurance company gives her for the airbags and buy mine.. which have never been used. she will be able to make a grip on them. i will sell her mine for $300.. they will give her probably like $1500 for hers.. just an idea
