Default Comptech or DC Sports Exhaust?!

What is the general concensus among everyone about quality / performance / noise / hp between the Comptech cat-back versus the DC Sports cat-back?

If you're planning to modify your car extensively, DC or Comptech exhaust is not what you're looking for. Although both exhausts have less restrictive mufflers, the pipe diameter is about same as stock.

I've heard both, they're not loud but not silent either.

The Comptech uses 2.25" mandrel bent US stainless steel, the DC sports uses Chinese Stainless(lesser quality). I also believe that the DC twin-loop is restrictive due to the very tight radius of the twin-loop canister.

i have the comptech cat-back exhaust also.....its great but yes it is only 2.25" so if you plan on running FI you should look at something with bigger piping....but comptech would be sufficent enough if you arent looking for an insane amount of hp

If you are going to bother paying for a $500+ cat-back system, I think it makes much more sense to buy a JDM-sized one. At least then you are making a significant change in pipe diameter (compared to the stock setup).

Some guy was selling RSR exhausts in the classified section. Get the Non vtec integra exhaust, it will fit Type R's. And the RSR b-pipes are 60mm. I got one and I only paid $299!
