Well I guess I could finally post some new pictures of my car now that all the work is done. Mostly done anyway. I might do a write up of the whole project here in the next few weeks. It wasn't too tough, but pretty extensive so I'm sure a few people might want to know about it. Soon to have a 98+ front end as well and a much prettier valve cover. Not sure where it'll go from there.

It's good to see 226 didn't die or move far away and it's still in the BustedShocks family. For those that don't remember this Ferrell's old 01 ITR #226 was the donor car for Erik's LS.

442 was happy to run around w/ 226 again, just like old times

Edit: I forgot the best part of this post, the driving impression. Feels like an R, honestly hard to tell it's not from inside. Pulls really hard, feels just like 442

Type-R motor, suspension, brakes (hubs, rotors, calipers, booster and BMC), steering rack, full interior but with better seats (not totally in yet), and lots more goodies to come

I was thinking you should take the rear wiper off...but I got to thinking...

keep the exterior exactly how it is. Leave the pin striping on. Also, you should leave that valve cover on, to really cross some eyes out there.

Do something subtle, like the Type R gauge cluster and the seats...make it a supah sleepah!
