Power Mirrors Swap

Could you swap the motors/guts of a 91 civic sedan power mirrors, and install them into my 91 crx manual mirrors, to make my manual mirrors power? (with use of power mirror controller)

I've heard you can just use the whole power mirror assembly of the same year civic on the CRX with minor modification. Trying to find more information myself. A lot cheaper than buying JDM folders!
