Default Customize a Civic 4dr?

Hey, im interested in buying a honda civic, but i believe it is a 4dr sedan, i dont know what year it is exactly, all i know is ive driven past it, and its a beutiful pearlaccent green/yello paint and i want it and customize is it. But i dont know if it would be worth doing it to a 4dr because i havent seen many customized, let me know if it would be worth it or if is even possible, or possibly post some pictures of a redone 4dr civic, because i dont want to buy it if i cant stick a body kit on it right away without it looking good Thank you
Kurt

first mistake, you put body kit, and looking good in the same sentence, if you wanna do it, then its worth it, dont just modify something cause other people do it as well

Most of the people on this site arent too fond of body kits.. just a warning.

4-doors are heavy. not the best for going fast, especially of you slap a big-*** bodykit on it. But fourdoors do look decent, and they're sleeper as hell.
If its a civic it can be done, there is an aftermarket piece for damn-near every part on that car, even if its a fourdoor, it is still a civic.
Id go sleeper.

Paint it White, put some black steelies on it, drop in a turbo B18 and a 5 speed and go hunting Mustangs.

Sleepers dont 'look good.' They look like some P.O.S. but are packed full of power. Do like GChamber said. Paint it some basic color, put some stock black steelies on it, drop in a K20a2 or whatever, and your set. But dont take this to heart. Do whatever YOU want to do to YOUR car, not what other people say. Do what you like.

I dont know, i think its sleeper enough being a 4dr but one thing is going to happen at a time, i want to make it look good first and i have no idea where to even start looking. I want an awesome body kit for it, im going to keep it the awesome green pearl paint it is now, tint the windows dark black perhaps green dont know yet, have eyelid headlights on it and chrome tail lights, than a professional stereo and decent rims and maybe MAYBE lowered. But i need to be pointed in the right direction thanks.

Compared to what? For the EJ8, Honda says. . . .

1999 Civic EX coupe----2513 pounds
1999 Civic EX sedan----2513 pounds

I may not be a math major, but even I know those two numbers are the same.

HA!
I know of a certain H-T member that ran a 12 in a turbo sohc 4door, on drag radials.

Turbo 4 doors are all slow

i feel so so so sorry for this kid speaking of body kits, and chrome tail lights, and blingy rims, most people in this forum strip everything out of the car from the back seat and oassenger seat, they care about going fast, not looking good, in my opinion, I wouldnt invest money in a body kit or anything like that, if you are gonna get a system, then dont put subs in your car, that just adds weight, and by the way, get ready to get ripped a new one...most h-t guys dont have hearts and will rip u a new just because your a n00b, we have all been n00bs before so take it easy on him

yea ive heard of that guy, o wait that was me

12.8@116 on bfg's no LSD, no weight mods just a stock 93 LX 4 door with a little 1.6 sohc. Mustangs around here are slow, and gay.i would own them on a daily basis, even 03+ cobras

For the products you're looking for, you can type them into Google, and search for pics and places that carry those items. You probably won't find too much information on this site for the mods you're looking for, because Honda-Tech leans more toward the performance side of modifying.

IMO
Don't put on a body kit
Don't get chrome tails
Don't get eyelids for it
Don't tint the windows green
Do lower it
Do put a kick *** Bseries+turbo

But to each his own......have fun
