Default Clutch Problem (help)

i have a ACT clutch/heavy duty clutch plate or wahtever, ive had it for bout 3 years, all of a sudden i was driving all normal, and my clutch pedal loses pressure, if u kno ACT clutch pedal has a very hard pedal feel, and now theres no pressure at all, and my clutch is slipping and does not engage right at all. i checked the clutch resevoir the fluid is ok. what could be the problem? thanks

try bleeding the clutch?? I am just throwing that out there, i dont see how air would get in the system after three years of good running.. worth a shot though?

check for leaks around the slave cylinder and the master cylinder.

I had the same problem for awhile...periodically, the pedal would go to the floor, and I'd have to pull it back. Traced the problem to a slightly leaking slave cylinder, replaced with a new unit, and all is well.

ACT clutch for me also love it

You propably have a leak somewhere, for it to just drop to the floor like that tells me that there was a loss in pressure in the system somewhere along the line aka pedal to the floor. As for the clutch it should still be fine condidering your not driving it like me all the time. Check the slave cylinder and master for leaks (just look for oil around the pistons and where the lines meet) If you dont see anything there trace the line to the tranny its more then likely going to be on a flexable piece of hose altho it can be ANYWHERE so.

Kinda off subject so sorry people but..

What clutch did you get? Street disc or 6 puck? im saving for the act clutch kit and flywheel. Wondering how you like it.

As for the clutch pressure..If it doesn't seem that stuff anymore..you could have a leak. check all the lines for cracks/holes or extra fluid anywhere on the motor. It could also be the reservoir cap. Not holding pressure.

This same thing happend to my roomate and the probs that have been described sound a lot like his problems before he replaced the slave and master cylinder. After the replacement it worked just fine.

I am pretty sure he got them down at the Honda Dealership or O'reillys he is sleeping or I would ask him. O'reillys sucks though right now in my book but call around and ask for prices.
